ABOUT US Our Story
For over 60 years now, Tri-Wall has been synonymous with heavy-duty, high performance packaging for the automotive, aerospace, military and many other medium and heavy industry sectors worldwide.
But our company started with much humbler beginnings. It was back in the early 1950's that Abe Goldstein, a maker of small boxes based in New Jersey, USA, invented a brand new manufacturing process for packaging. It featured three layers of heavy-duty corrugated material, so Abe called it Tri-Wall Pak®.

Before Abe’s invention, wood and other materials had dominated packaging for the transport of a variety of goods and materials. But the many benefits of using Tri-Wall Pak® were quickly recognised. Within just ten years of entering the US marketplace, Tri-Wall Pak® could be found in virtually every area of packaging for industry and agriculture.
Tri-Wall Pak® was a massive success in the US, which led us to expand our reach across the globe through a series of local partnerships. After breaking into the UK and mainland Europe in the late 1960's, we moved into Asia in 1974 by forging a partnership with one of Japan's largest paper companies. Over the next 30 years, the tremendous success of Tri-Wall KK in Japan led us to expand into Korea, Taiwan, South East Asia and China. This was the very beginning of what was soon to become the Tri-Wall Group.
In 2010, our corporate headquarters moved from Tokyo to Hong Kong, a natural move which reflected our increasingly International corporate profile, and China’s importance to the Group's long-term vision and growth. From Hong Kong, Tri-Wall Ltd oversees the Tri-Wall Group subsidiary holding companies for Japan, Southeast Asia, China, Europe, the Middle East and India.
